Xiaomi working on a flagship phone is the kind of news that can surely make your whole week better. We’re talking about one of the top Chinese phone manufacturers, and its phones have the advantage of also being regularly cheap.
Xiaomi itself made the announcement that it’s joining forces with Leica to develop a flagship phone that’s set to release in just a few months, according to Gizmochina.com.
The new phone will launch in July 2022
Without having a precise release date, we know that the new flagship is coming out sometime in July this year. Until now, the Chinese manufacturer has been dead silent about the specs of the upcoming device. But since we know that it’s a flagship, we can only expect some killer spec sheet. Xiaomi named the collaboration as a “long-term strategic cooperation.”
For those unaware, Leica is a German brand that develops cameras, optical lenses, binoculars, photographic lenses, rifle scopes, as well as microscopes. The company was first founded by Ernst Leitz over 150 years ago, in 1869. In 1986, Leitz changed its name to Leica.
